COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective	It is aimed to give efficiencies about PACS systems and central monitor systems in biomedical technology to the students.
Course Content	Introduction to PACS systems, connection structures and operation principles. Intended use of connection to PACS systems. Schemes of connection to PACS systems and common connection errors. Block diagrams of connection to PACS systems. Structure and operation principles of DICOM software systems. Intended use of DICOM software systems. Block diagrams of DICOM software systems and IP configuration. Connection sockets and types with data code. Common connection errors of central monitor systems, connection block diagrams and IP configuration. Surrounding connections, intended use and connection schemes of central monitor systems. Softwares of central monitor systems. Introduction to PACS systems, connection structures and operation principles.
