COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Associate's Degree

Course Objective General information about visual communication and graphic design, graphic design within the framework of the existing emblem, logo, correspondence elements (envelopes, letters, business cards), posters, brochures, catalogs, magazines and printed media materials such as graphic design covering the basic visual communication elements Theoretically it is explained and applied with examples. Each one is examined and investigated and the application methods are determined.
Course Content Students will be able to use their ideas and ideas in computer environment with today's technological software and gain the ability to create original visual designs. Created and diversified in accordance with the periodic project implementation; logo design and slogan, corporate color and font, business card, letterhead, envelope, building facade dressing, promotional materials, etc. are reinforced.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Explains basic terms and concepts related to graphic design, recognizes design principles.
2Evaluates the basic concepts and applications of design and creativity processes and recognizes the elements of design (line, tone, color, texture, form, measure and direction).
3Interprets the idea-finding process aimed at solving a communication problem, and recognizes the basic applications of computers and peripherals used in graphic design.
4Identify the basic applications of reproduction, construction and printing, and make designs that match the sensing characteristics of the target kit.
