COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The aim of this course is to help the students to acquire basic theoretical knowledge and practice of exercises applied in different diseases.
Course Content Introduction to exercise, effects, indications, contraindications of exercises. Therapeutic exercises: range of motion exercises, strengthening exercises, cardiovascular endurance and aerobic exercises, balance-coordination exercises, neurophysiologic exercises, healthy life and exercises, sports medicine, pregnancy and exercises, geriatric and exercises. Regional exercise therapy: face, cervical, dorsal, lumber spine, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, foot.
