LABOUR ECONOMICS AND INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS DEPARTMENT

General Information

Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations has begun to its academic education in the 2005-2006 academic year. The current academic staff of the department consist of five professors, three associate professors, and two assistant professors, (Ph.D.) 2 research assistants


Objective

Aims of our department 1. To provide qualified education that combines economic, social, psychological and legal equipment with theory and practice in the fields of social policy, labor economics and industrial relations, human resources, labor law and social security, and develops skills and competencies in areas of interest. 2. To offer a qualified training program to train qualified public and private sector managers and experts who have the vision needed by the labor market, who constantly renew themselves with the philosophy of lifelong education, and who have the capacity to solve social problems, 3. To raise individuals who can contribute to the creation of working environments that will increase productivity and develop jobs worthy of human dignity in Turkey and the world. 4. To ensure that department stakeholders can develop advanced analyzes by supporting their interaction with scientific knowledge and scientific activities produced within the framework of interdisciplinary and relevant branches of science.
