There are two Programs in the Department of Economics as Master of Economics and Ph.D Program. In these Programs the courses such as microeconomics macroeconomics and econometrics are given at advanced level both in theoretical and applied context. Certain specialized field courses aiming at Thesis are also given. After the stage of comrehensive examination students can graduate by preparing and submitting an original Thesis

General purpose of the Master program in Economics is to prepare qualified economists who are eligible for solving economic problems and conducting research in private sector and public instutions. Ph.D Program for Economics is especially designed for academic and scientific institutions.
