GENERAL INFORMATION
Pamukkale University Economics (English) (UOLP – SUNY Cortland) program is an international joint undergraduate program conducted between Türkiye and the United States. The program is designed as a dual-degree structure aiming to provide students with an economics education that is valid both locally and globally. The language of instruction is entirely English, and students complete the first two years of the program in Türkiye and the final two years in the United States. This structure enables students to experience different academic systems, engage in an international learning environment, and develop intercultural competencies. The program is carried out through academic coordination between Pamukkale University and SUNY Cortland, and the course content as well as learning outcomes are designed in alignment with the curricula of both institutions. Students who successfully complete the program are awarded diplomas from both universities, which provides a significant advantage in the global labor market.

Furthermore, the program seeks to improve students’ advanced English language proficiency, allowing them to communicate effectively in international academic and professional environments. In addition, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and policy analysis skills is considered a key objective, supporting graduates in pursuing successful careers in academia, the private sector, and public institutions.
