Course Objective In this course, the general principles of cultivation techniques of some economically important pharmaceutical and spice plants, the effects of cultivation techniques on yield and quality, and the interactions between these applications will be explained to undergraduate students.
Course Content In this lesson; importance of medicinal plants, general principles of medicinal plants agriculture, mint; thyme, sage, lavender, cumin, anise, coriander, fennel, black cumin, saffron and its cultivation, some important bulbous plants and some dye plants will be covered.
