Course Objective Identification of studies carried out in the field of animal technology, identification of farm animals and their products, and obtaining production information.
Course Content The place of animal husbandry in agricultural production, profitable livestock conditions, the concept of species and race in animal science, the classification of breeds, breeding in farm animals, the importance of fertility, animal breeding, the importance of cattle breeding, care and management, the importance of sheep breeding, care and management, goat breeding importance, maintenance and management, Importance of poultry, its situation in Turkey and in the world, Laying poultry, broiler maintenance and management, Animal body and nutritional content of feeds, Digestive System in Farm Animals and Digestion of Feed, Feeds and feed additives, Farm animals in different physiological periods. nutrition, record keeping and its importance in livestock will be explained, and practical explanation will be given about the breeding, rearing and feeding of farm animals.
