Course Objective
The aim of the course is to teach nursery establishment and planning, principles of open and closed field seedling production, generative and vegetative seedling production techniques, seedling care measures and seedling quality principles.
Course Content
Seedling production methods, Seedling production in summer vegetable species, Seedling production in winter vegetable species, Seedling production in winter vegetable species, Seedling production in winter vegetable species, Necessary practices in obtaining quality seedlings, Reasons for seedling production in fruit growing, the status of seedling production in our country, nursery sector, Fruit seedling production methods and facilities that should be found in nurseries, Seedling rootstocks and production methods, Vegetative production methods and clone rootstocks Vaccination methods used in seedling production, Seedling production in some sample fruit species To explain important practices in obtaining quality seedlings.
