COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Associate's Degree

Course Objective To be able to comprehend that the production methods of knives that will meet the needs of the people and the industry, which are necessary for the manufacturing technicians, and that the material properties of the knives to be produced have an effect on the quality of the knives. To be able to recognize the types of materials used in the industrial field, to comprehend their basic properties, To be able to choose the most suitable materials for use and design. It is aimed to be able to classify materials, to know their internal structures, to teach steel hardening and standards.
Course Content It covers basic material knowledge, elements and their properties, material compositions, factors in material selection, determination of design and production processes, development of knife making technology.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
