Course Objective The ability to see, perceive and draw through pattern studies, using tools, composing, expressing rhythm, balance and movement, using point, line, stain and texture, expressing proportion-proportion and light-shadow, perception, structural features of objects. to gain the skills of studying, expressing three-dimensional objects in two dimensions, using pattern elements and principles, creating form and order, using perspective, creating unity and integrity, using pattern works as a visual form of communication, gaining and developing individual understanding by providing artistic culture. to develop their artistic creativity, to contribute to the culture they live as producers of art, to develop their original thinking, experimentation and production capacities, to gain confidence and competence in order to produce artworks, to make experiments, observations and research by using the basic concepts of art It aims to evaluate the contributions of the arts to society.
Course Content To be able to analyze the anatomical structure of the human figurature correctly, To grasp the part-whole relation, To be able to visualize the human figurine by associating it with the space, To experience different expression and stylistic searches, To be able to make light-shadow based volumetric solutions.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Knows and explains the importance of drawing patterns in the design world.
2Understands pattern elements such as line, proportion, form, movement, composition.
3Shows the whole-piece relationship in geometric forms in pattern drawing.
4He/she conveys what he sees in a linear expression by providing a combination of eyes and hands.
5Makes pattern studies based on the observations of living models and objects.
6She/he develops individual approaches such as stylization, adding interpretation and deforming in her imaginative pattern works.
