Course Objective
The aim of this course is to focus on the basic ideas of Husserl’s philosophy considering his most important texts, to underline his importance in the history of philosophy, and to point out the relationship between his ideas and the current problems in philosophy
Course Content
Husserl's basic concepts such as orientation, phenomenological reduction, eidetic reduction and their connection with phenomenological method will be emphasized. Also, the contribution of Heidegger to phenomenology and the connection between Husserl and Heidegger will be examined.
