In order to increase the quality of life in the world and in our country, the importance given to health has increased even more. For this reason, there is a need for health professionals who are competent in their profession, committed to ethical values, open to development and equipped, who can apply their knowledge and skills at every opportunity. In order to meet this need, the nursing department started its education within the Denizli School of Health, which was opened in 1996. With the Official Gazette dated 27 August 2015 and numbered 29458 and the Council of Ministers Decision numbered 2015/8052, Denizli School of Health within the body of our University was closed and the Faculty of Health Sciences was established. The Department of Nursing continues its educational activities actively. Social Services Department was opened in our faculty in 2018, but education has not started yet.

To raise professional members who can effectively use education, practice, research, management and leadership roles in line with scientific approaches and the changing needs of society in order to protect, develop and maintain the health of the individual, family and society.
