Our faculty was established by the Cabinet Decision dated 04.04.2011 and numbered 2011/1595 by the Council of Ministers in accordance with the additional article 30 of the Law No. 2809 dated 28.3.198, upon the proposal letters of the Ministry of National Education. The first dean was appointed by the Council of Higher Education on 22.09.2011 with the Presidential Decision numbered 2011/53. With the beginning of the 2013-2014 academic year, our faculty started education with the Department of Public Relations and Publicity by taking 31 students in the additional placement period. Academic units of our faculty consist of Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising, Radio, Television and Cinema and New Media departments. The Department of Public Relations and Publicity continues its educational activities actively, and our students can attend the optional Foreign Language English Preparatory Class for one year before starting the first year. In addition to the opportunity to do an optional internship, our students are offered the opportunity to study at universities with Erasmus programs abroad. Efforts are underway to restructure other departments in our faculty.
