Tavas Vocational School; In 2010, it was established to train qualified human resources in specific sectors and business world. Tavas Vocational School started education life with 3 programs (Medical and Aromatic Plants, Organic Agriculture, Occupational Health and Safety). Today Tavas Vocational School has 5 programs (Medical and Aromatic Plants, Organic Agriculture, Occupational Health and Safety [1st and 2nd education], Child Development [1st and 2nd education], Cooking [1st and 2nd education] ) continues education and training. Tavas Vocational School offers its students the opportunity to learn internally with the sector, to practice in different fields and to find jobs easily when they graduate. Our school has 62 desktop computers. 18 of them belong to teaching staff, 4 of them belong to civil servants, 1 to the library, 9 of them belong to the classrooms and 30 of them belong to the student computer laboratory. 5 laptop computers are used in the classroom. There are also 5 printers, 2 photocopiers, 6 portable, 9 fixed, 15 projectors, 1 optical reader and presentation scale. There are fixed 1 pair of loudspeakers throughout the classrooms. Current Student Area Programs: Medical and Aromatic Plants Program, Organic Agriculture Program, Occupational Health and Safety Program Normal and Secondary Education, Cooking Program Normal and Secondary Education, Child Development Program Normal and Secondary Education. Public Relations and Publicity, Foreign Trade, Traditional Handicrafts and Call Center Services programs are open and there are no teaching staff or students. Available Laboratory and Application Areas: There are 2 student laboratories of herbal and animal production which consists of 48 m2 in our school. Student capacity of these laboratories; 25 people can have the theoretical course, 15 people have the capacity to work at the same time. Instruments found in Plant and Animal Production Laboratories; Analytical Scale, Nitrogen Protein Detector, Oil Detector, Moisture Detector, Microbiological Safety Cabinet, Spectrophotometer, Microscope Image Trans System, Ph Meter, Deep Freezer, Melting Point Detector, Conductivity Meter, Oven, Water Softener, Autoclave, Table Water Heater, Water Baths, Ash Oven, Laboratory Type Freezer, Refractometer, Binocular Microscope, Trinocular Microscope In addition, there are 120 m2, 8 units (cooker, oven, hood and cabinets integrated), 3 warehouse, 2 dressing rooms and a cookery laboratory. Tavas Vocational School has about 24.000 m2 of application area belonging to the Plant and Animal Production Department. Pamukkale University BAP Coordination Office has implemented a 300.000 TL budget infrastructure project and a total of 1200 m2 of Modern Gothic Greenhouses have been constructed. One of them is seedling sapling production plant and the other is a soilless agricultural farm. Our ceramics are fully automated and have a meteorological station. In addition to these, department students will gain skills and experience by applying medicinal and aromatic plants, fruits, vegetables and biological, cultural and chemical medicines which will be added to the field of application and will be able to see good agricultural practices in place and practically. Campus Area, Existing Classroom Facilities and Student Capacities: 13026 m2 open area and 6.000 m2 closed area. Blocks A - B - C are located in the campus. A Block contains a conference hall, Plant and Animal Production Laboratory, Cooking Laboratory, Dining Hall and Cafeteria. There are Classrooms, Administrators, Staff and Instructor Elements Rooms, Library and Computer Lab in B Block. Block C is on the construction site. There is also a disabled ramp for students with disabilities at the entrance to the building. Ground floor; There are 4 classrooms with 67.00 m2, 4 with 48.00 m2 and 1 classroom with 98.00 m2. There are 9 classrooms in total. The classrooms are 40-60 persons in capacity and all classrooms have a projector, a speaker, a presentation scale and a desktop computer.
