Faculty of Engineering was established in 1976. The Faculty joined Pamaukkale University in 1992-1993 academic year. The Faculty of Engineering has nine active departments teaching both at BSc and MSc Degrees. These departments are Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Food Engineering, Textile Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Environmental Engineering. Departments of Mechanical, Civil, Food and Electrical-Electronics Engineering have also PhD Degree Programmes as well as evening BSc Degree Programmes.
The main educational objectives of our Faculty of Engineering are as follows:
1.To provide students with the technical background needed for the practice of, or for graduate study in engineering.
2. To develop an ability in students to competently employ broad-based analytical concepts and information systems for decision-making, system design, analysis and performance evaluation.
3. To develop the necessary skills for effective communication and operating as part of an engineering team;
4. To instill in the students an understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
5. To instill in the students a need for life-long learning, including achieving an advanced degree.
6. To guide students to develop their potential for executive, leadership, and entrepreneurial roles in their chosen professional careers.
