Course Objective	It aims at examining Aristo’s theories of thought, literature, art and aesthetics, who had a great role in the development of thought in the West with his ideas concerning Philosophy, Literature, Art and Aesthetics.
Course Content	It examines Aristoteles’ place in the history of philosophy, his relation with the previous and following philosophers, their influence on each other, the basics of Aristoteles’ logic, his perspective of metaphysics, his ideas concerning the place of the human being in the universe, his philosophy of ethics, his perspective concerning politics and philosophy of art.

Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.

1	Understands Aristoteles’ place in the history of thought
2	Comprehends Aristoteles’s logic and the roots of the logic
3	Learns Aristoteles’ way of understanding metaphysics
