Course Objective	The aim of this course is to introduce the software and programs used in educational research (R, Jamovi, NVivo etc.) and to gain basic knowledge and skills about how to make use of such software and programs in the process of data analysis, data visualization and reporting in educational research.
Course Content	Information about the scope and content of the course. Installation of the software and the programs. Introduction of the software and the programs, information on the general structure. Assignment operators, arithmetic, and logical operators, introduction of functions and packages. Objects, vectors, matrices, and factors. Data sets, data importing and writing. Data manipulation. Quantitative data analysis Qualitative data analysis. Descriptive statistics. Hypothesis testing. Item analysis. Data visualization. Scientific reporting

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	To use software and programmes such as R, Jamovi, NVivo etc. for data analysis and reporting purposes.
2	To analyze the data with the help of available functions..
3	To know the types of data and select and use the appropriate data type for its purpose.
4	To carry out operations such as filtering, recoding, correction of data.
5	To generate the appropriate graph for the purpose.
6	To calculate descriptive statistics using related software and programmes
7	To perform hypothesis tests using related software and programmes
