COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Bachelor's Degree
Course Type Compulsory
Course Objective The aim of this course is to gain a deep understanding and insight about the basic geometric objects of the R^3 space.. Throughout this course, students will analyze the concepts of vector, line, and plane in space with analytical. In addition, they will learn how to obtain the equations of quadric surfaces such as spheres, cylinders, and cones, and to draw their graphs. They will also understand the intersections of quadratic surfaces with planes. In addition, they will be able to obtain images of quadratic surfaces algebraically and graphically under translational and rotational transformations.
Course Content Vectors, equations of line and plane In three-dimensional space, vectorial equations of line and plane, and related problems, quadratic surfaces such as a sphere, cylinder, cone, and cross-sections of quadraticsurfaces with a line and plane in space, quadratic surfaces under translational and rotational transformations.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
