GENERAL INFORMATION
With the Official Gazette dated 27 August 2015 and numbered 29458 and the Council of Ministers Decision numbered 2015/8052, Denizli School of Health within the body of our University was closed and the Faculty of Health Sciences was established. Since this date, it has been continuing its education as the Department of Nursing in the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Objective
The aim of the program is to educate students to understand the contemporary training frame, for them to become knowledgeable, dynamic, with self confidence, open to change and able to work in allareas of health, and to educate postgraduate nurses. Our aim is to become an educational institution that will be preferred and recognized both at national and international levels and, in accordance with the philosophy of education, administration, research and application.


Admission Requirements
Students who wish to enterthissection have to pass the Higher Education Examination by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). According to the results of this examination Male and female students who have graduated from highschool or equivalent may apply to this section. The conditions of registration specified in the Guide for Higher Education Programs and Quotas are sought.

Graduation Requirements
Students must complete all compulsory and elective courses in the curriculum, including non-formal and compulsory education, without compulsory lessons. According to Pamukkale University Associate, Undergraduate Education and Education Regulation, graduation conditions must be fulfilled.

Career Opportunties
Graduated students can work as clinical nurses, occupational nurses, school health nurses, managers and educator nurses in all institutions providing health services. They can work in academic units of universities by completing their graduate education.

Recognition of Prior Learning
From higher education institutions in Turkey for students who want to transfer to the Pamukkale University "Higher Education Institutions and Bachelors Degree Level Between Programs in Transition, Double Major, the Interagency Minor Credit Transfer of the Regulation on the Principles of" shall apply. Joint compulsory foreign language exemption exam is held on the date specified in the academic calendar at the beginning of the fall semester. Students who will take the exemption exam apply to the related department within the period specified in the academic calendar. Exam results are announced in the relevant units. Students who pass the exam are exempted from the related courses. For the exemption of the courses previously taken in the higher education programs, application is made within the framework of the principles stated in Pamukkale University Associate, Undergraduate Education and Training Regulations.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

Access to Further Studies

TEACHING & LEARNING METHODS

LecturingLecturing is one of the methods that come first, where the teacher is in the center. It is a method where the teacher actively describes topics and the students are passive listeners. With this method, lesson proceeds in the form of report, description and explanation.
DebateDepending on the situation, debate is a tool that allows all students, or a specific portion of the class to participate in the lesson. In this method, members of the group discuss a topic by addressing the various points of view and discuss alternative opinions about problem-solving.
DemonstrationIn this method the teacher demonstrates, an experiment, test, in front of the class. And then assists students to do so too. Students learn not only by just by looking and watching, but also by taking part and participating. This method is usually applied when teaching skills.
PerformanceIn this method, the teacher performs activities such as experiments and demonstrations in front of the class, students try to learn by looking and watching. This method is usually applied where there are limited facilities and in dealing with dangerous experimental situations.

InterviewThis is when the teacher brings in (writers, artists, designers, writers, illustrators, etc.) because he/she is not equipped with the adequate facilities to do with certain issues or situations.
