147 CONTEMPORARY TURKISH DIALECTS AND LITERATURES

GENERAL INFORMATION
Contemporary Turkish Dialects and Literature Department, has launched the undergraduate program in the 2014-2015 academic year. The section provides a four-year degree program; an interdisciplinary graduate program is also available. Workspace Department folklore, linguistics, history, sociology, international relations, history of art, history, is suitable for interdisciplinary studies with science as geography. Contemporary in the Department of Turkish Dialects and Literature, Turkey Turkish, historical Turkish dialects and speech, comprehension and writing levels in modern Turkish written languages (Azerbaijani, Turkmen, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Bashkirs, Tatars, Uzbeks, Uighurs, Khakassia, Tuva, Altai, Field) with their literature are taught and trained experts in these fields. Since the Turkish language for it and started to benefit from modern Turkish literary language text. Texts, Turkish folk literature of Turkey Turkish and modern Turkish written language, old Turkish language, Ottoman (Divan) Literature and contemporary / new Turkish literature of different periods, and is the product of different social segments. Part quota is 60 people. The department is governed by one chairman and two deputy chairmen. There is an executive secretary. 1 associate professor in the Department, 3 assistant professors, 1 research assistant. The graduates of the Department of academics in their fields, teacher, or dialect interpreter to make transfers between institutions can work as experts in areas related to the Turkish community.

Objective
In today's Turkish world, there is a need for Turcologists/dialect scientists who can work in private or public institutions to reach the desired level and who have trained themselves socially, culturally and economically. One of the aims of the undergraduate program is to learn and direct to research, the other is to provide the ability to work collectively and individually by supporting personal development, and the other is to support concepts such as lifelong learning and learning to learn, which are established in the European Union harmonization process.

Graduation Requirements
Successfully pass the course is received, have been completed as required by total loans for undergraduate students of Pamukkale University. Contemporary Turkish Dialects and Literature Department of Education curriculum and teaching in the first period, 4 years (8 semesters). As mentioned in the lesson plan to graduate in Annex-1, a total of 153 Acquisition of local credit and course of 240 ECTS credits must be provided.

Career Opportunties
A large work space for graduate students is available from the department. Graduates of the Turkish republic in public institutions and organizations concerned with doing business outside of the rich business opportunities offered by the private sector in various research institutions and universities will be able to work as a specialist areas. Graduates of Turkish language and literature in secondary education programs formal education institution fulfilling the pedagogical conditions and Turkish teacher shall have the right to do as well.

Recognition of Prior Learning
For students who want to transfer from higher education institutions in Turkey to Pamukkale University, the provisions of the "Regulation on the Principles of Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer" are applied.
