510 FASHION DESIGN (Evening Classes)

GENERAL INFORMATION
The Fashion Design Program was opened and started education in the 2007-2008 school year as regular daytime teaching, in the 2008-2009 school year 35 students started education. The Fashion Design Program is a 2 year long program and the language of teaching is in Turkish.

Objective
The program aims to contribute development in the area of textile and ready-to-wear industry and to acquire trained personal. After graduation, the students can work in textile and apparel companies, fashion houses.


Admission Requirements
To enter the Fashion Design program at least be a graduate of high school or equivalent education and transition to higher education Exam (SDK) and the Graduate Placement Exam (LYS) is necessary to get enough points. Pass settle without examination: Paint finishing, dyeing-printing-pattern, leather garments, leather garments, fabrics, plain weave (knitwear), men's tailoring, home and apparel accessories, apparel, yarn / spinning, dressmaking, cutting (textile clothing), ready-made, quality control (textile), fashion (clothes), design, fashion pictures, fashion design, knitted garments, knitting technology knitting / knitting technology, textile, textile dyeing-finishing, textile dyeing-printing-pattern, textile weaving, textile yarn, textile spinning, textile, garments, textile quality control, textiles, knitting, textile design, textile technology, textile (knitting technology), tailoring, knitwear design, knitwear, garments, knitwear, patterns, knitting, circular knitting (combed).

Graduation Requirements
Students are required to complete all compulsory and elective courses in the curriculum successfully with no failing grades, including compulsory internship trainings and summer practises, and have a minimum CGPA requirement as stated in Pamukkale University’s associate program guidance.

Career Opportunties
Fashion Design Program, Fashion, Textile and Apparel industry trained with a computerized pattern and design programs, design manufactured products obtained in the size of the practical training in technical, aesthetic and artistic values that can add to train competent designers. Fashion Design Program graduates, textile factories and workshops, the apparel sector, private businesses, fashion houses, the textile export firms, there are job opportunities in knitting industry, and the like. In addition, their own possibilities in the sector, create jobs for themselves by opening the workshops.

Access to Further Studies
Without examination the graduates of Anadolu University Open Education Faculty have the right to migrate 3.sınıfına. In addition, DGS, if they are successful in the graduate program of formal education there are opportunities to continue.

TEACHING & LEARNING METHODS

LecturingLecturing is one of the methods that come first, where the teacher is in the center. It is a method where the teacher actively describes topics and the students are passive listeners. With this method, lesson proceeds in the form of report, description and explanation.
DebateDepending on the situation, debate is a tool that allows all students, or a specific portion of the class to participate in the lesson. In this method, members of the group discuss a topic by addressing the various points of view and discuss alternative opinions about problem-solving.
DemonstrationIn this method the teacher demonstrates, an experiment, test, in front of the class. And then assists students to do so too. Students learn not only by just by looking and watching, but also by taking part and participating. This method is usually applied when teaching skills.
