349 CIVIL AIR TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT

GENERAL INFORMATION
The transport services sector has a high share in the country's economy. It is possible to gain advantage from competitive conditions and to accelerate the flow of products and information by improving logistics. It is seen that the logistics sector in our country needs trained intermediate personnel. Providing logistics training under the field of transportation services will be an important initiative in meeting the training needs of the sector. Education is important for the understanding of logistics.The aim of the Civil Air Transport Management program is to train executive candidates who can successfully work in national and international aviation, terminal management and ground handling companies in the rapidly developing aviation sector, and who are equipped with advanced foreign language, business administration and basic aviation knowledge. It is a four-semester higher education program that aims to train qualified intermediate manpower, equipped with the necessary aviation safety and operational knowledge, to perform the operational operation of the aircraft within the framework of national and international safety standards within the framework of national and international safety standards in airports, airline and ground handling companies. During the four-semester education and training, it is aimed to teach the students technical and theoretical knowledge of aircraft and air transportation system as well as the knowledge and skills of the business discipline.

Objective
It is aimed to train professionals who can adapt to civilian consumer fast-moving consumer products, technological developments, and changes in the nature and content of works in Turkey.


Admission Requirements
Not having any Criminal Records or Criminal Archive records that would prevent them from receiving an airport entry card. Obtaining a medical report from a full-fledged hospital (hearing loss / deficiency, vision loss / deficiency etc.)

Graduation Requirements
Must have accomplished all compulsory courses in the program. It is required to have at least 120 ECTS credits in total and the overall average is 2.30 out of 4.00. In this program, 30 days internship is compulsory.

Career Opportunties
Students who graduate from the Department of Civil Air Transport Management can work as intermediate staff in private sector and public institutions. In addition, students who continue their education by completing their undergraduate and graduate degrees increase the opportunity to find a job.

Recognition of Prior Learning
From higher education institutions in Turkey Pamukkale University For students wishing to transfer horizontal "Higher Education Institutions and Bachelors Degree Level Between Programs in Transition, Double Major, the Interagency Minor Regulations Concerning Transfer of Credit Fundamentals" provisions are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

Access to Further Studies
In addition, if they are successful in the DGS exam, they have the opportunity to attend the relevant undergraduate program in formal education.
