Course Objective Purpose of this course is to present theoretical knowledge about history and nature of science and social effects of science on the society and discuss place and importance of these phenomenons in science education as well as explain science-society-technology and environment relationship and presents effects on science education.
Course Content Providing scientific thought and curiosity, presenting science in meaningful form, emphasizing that science is not a complex phenomenon and each event has scientific explanation. Emphasizing the importance of acquiring thinking, observing, discussing, and deciding based on studies, data and knowledge. To support individuals to understand science, to implement it, to catch the technology and to see the importance of science and technology.
