Course Objective The aim of this course is developing the algorithmic thinking process, which is one of the component of mathematical thinking, by applying the mathematical algorithms on a programming language and making students be aware of mathematical structure of computer programming.
Course Content Investigating mathematical programming languages and features of programming tools. Fundamentals of programming. Advanced programming skills. Designing projects using a computer programming language to investigate topics in geometry, calculus and algebra.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
Mode of Delivery Face to Face

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Students should know fundamental properties of the programming language
2Students should asses the mathematical importance of the algorithm.
3 Students should generate suitable algorithms for mathematical problem situations.
4Students should convert the algorithms into the language which can be understood by the computer by using programming language.
5Students should asses the role of solving mathematical problems by programming on developing mathematical thinking.
6Students should design and conduct the research on investigating the effect of programming and generating algorithm on learning mathematics.
