Course Objective The aim of this course is to develop conceptual foundation of geometry and measurement topics, design learning environments to develop conceptual understanding and high level thinking with the use of dynamic geometry software, computer programs, graphing calculators.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
11) Students should explain the relationships between 6-8th grade geometry and measurement concepts.
2Students should compare the geometry and measurement topics from the curriculums of different countries at the secondary stage level of elementary education.
3Students should explain the thinking levels of different geometry concepts.
4Students should design research models for measurement concepts.
5Students should propose a research design on geometry subjects.
6Students should carry out a research for learning or teaching on geometric concepts, relationships and structures.
7Students should carry out a research on measurement subjects.
