Course Objective The aim of this course is to gain knowledge and skills about the current and evidence based approaches in female reproductive organ tumors, the assessment of physical and psychosocial needs of women and their families, their care and rehabilitation in a holistic approach, clinical guidelines for prevention and early diagnosis of gynecologic cancers and developing health education programs.
Course Content This course includes information and practice about the current treatment approaches in female reproductive system cancers, the prevention and early diagnosis of gynecologic cancers, the assessment of physical and psychosocial needs of women and their families, their care and rehabilitation in a holistic approach

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1He/She explains the current and evidence-based approaches in diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and nursing care in gynecological tumors,
2He/She administers the questionnaires used in the evaluation of sexual function in gynecologic oncology patients,
3He/She identifies psychosocial care needs of gynecologic oncology patients and their families,
4He/She gives examples for clinical guidelines used in gynecology,
5He/She associates the cancers in pregnancy
6He/She designs health / patient education programs about gynecologic oncology for individuals and health professionals, or plans an original research on this subject.
