Course Objective	The aim of this course is to provide students to gain knowledge and skill which is about care of mother and baby before birth, birth and after birth and to recognize and manage normal situation and complication in first order health organization according to safe motherhood.
Course Content	Project of safe motherhood and reproduction health; percentage and reason of mother and baby death in Turkey and World; reason and importance of care of before birth; consistence of birth and postpartum period and nursing care of mother and baby.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	Students will be able to make definition of to safe motherhood and reproduction health.
2	Students will be able to know percentage and reason of mother and baby death in Turkey and World.
3	Students will be able to understand importance and goal of care before birth.
4	Students will be able to understand importance of following mother and baby health in pregnancy and pregnancy physiology.
5	Students will be able to understand following and care of mother and baby health in birth and after birth period.
6	Students will be able to develop projects about increasing mother health.
