Course Objective By determining the common period of Turkish world literatures, the emergence of modern literature in the Turkish world and the formation process of the Turkish world children's literature will be introduced, and personalities giving works in the field of children's literature will be introduced.
Course Content Historical development of children's literature. Definition of the concept of child. Relativity to the child and child reality, which is one of the basic principles of children's literature. Features that should be included in children's books. major studies on children's literature in Turkey. The concept of the Turkish world. The concept of Turkish world literature. An overview of the Turkish world children's literature: Oral products, Written products. Leading representatives of children's literature, genres and features in Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Balkan geography.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1To gain new knowledge and concepts in the field of Turkish World Children's Literature and to gain the ability to perceive the relationships between information and concepts.
2Gaining the skill of accessing the sources of Turkish World Children's Literature and making use of the resources within the framework of scientific criteria.
3To gain the ability to analyze, criticize and interpret the information given in the field of Turkish World Children's Literature in the world of knowledge and thought.
4To know the scientific methods in the field of Turkish World Children's Literature, to make compilation studies and to gain the ability to analyze them.
5To deepen the knowledge in the field of Turkish World Children's Literature and gain knowledge and skills to do postgraduate studies.
6To be able to recognize the other disciplines in the field of Turkish Language and Literature and gain the ability to take a holistic view by making comparative studies and analysis with Turkish World Children's Literature.
7To gain the ability to prepare cultural elements nationally and universally with the knowledge gained in the field of Turkish World Children's Literature and to prepare them for new and current productions.
