Course Objective The aim of this course is to give instruction about developing, planning and conducting of projects in historical research in accordance with the principles of scientific thinking; evaluating the variables, effective in determining the subject of the project, examining various theoretical and methodological approaches in conducting projects; and learning of methods to monitor and control the progress of project, and to apply these methods.
Course Content This course covers the importance of conducting projects in historical research; methods and techniques of developing projects; the principles of scientific ethics in developing, conducting and completing historical research projects; the types and contents of projects in historical research; sample project reviews, the significance of literature review in evaluation of projects, problem of originality and feasibility, features of project budget, outputs from projects, being familiar with project financing institutions and their working principles.
