Course Objective The aim of this course is to evaluate and compare the history of social studies curricula, training program development and evaluation concepts, social studies education, recognition of academic programs, program types, the theoretical foundations of curriculum development, curriculum development process, new approaches to curriculum development, social studies programs in our country and abroad.
Course Content Individuals and Identity, Culture and Heritage, People, Places and Environment, Production, Distribution and Consumption, Science, Technology and Society, Groups, Institutions, Social Organizations, Power, Governance and Society, Global Connectivity issues.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
