Course Objective The purposes of this course display children at risk, causes of risk and measures to be taken.
Course Content The developmental principle that every child must live all the experiences he/she needs in every age does not work for the children who live in a risk involved life. It is known that a health child is an candidate for all kinds of valuable products for himself/herself and society. Fort hat reason the basic objective of this course is to examine the children at risk scientifically, thus to develop the students’ understanding about risks and risk factors and to empower them to desing and make related researches.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Develop a point of view about “risk” concept and its causes.
2Develop an understanding about such risks as violence, trauma, divorce, taxicomania, exploitation, loosing parents etc
3Comprehend how to deal with the problems and the needs of the children at risk.
4Understand the rights of the children at risks and the adults’ responsibilities.
5Develop research proposals relevant to how to improve the children at risk.
