Course Objective Early childhood teachers’ awareness of trends and innovations in the field can help them meet different needs of the children in a more effective manner. Based on this purpose, trends and innovations in early childhood education will be discussed.
Course Content this course is to develop learners’ understanding of trends and innovations related to theory and research issues in early childhood education. Also, it aims to investigate trends about early childhood professionals’ knowledge and skills in the various areas of curriculum, such as science, mathematics, and literacy. Some of the issues and challenges faced by young children, teachers and parents will be examined. Learners explain trends and innovations related to theory and research in connection with the quality issues of early childhood education.
