Course Objective	This course aims at teaching the information and researches related to new topic fields and new approaches in visual arts education, contents of the programme, teaching methods, planning and measure and evaluation applications, constructivist learning, and creative and critical thinking.
Course Content	This courses focuses on information and researches about the new subject areas, new approaches, program content, teaching methods, planning and measurement and evaluation practices, constructivist learning, critical and creative thinking in visual art education. It also includes knowledge of qualitative research methods and application researches.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	Explain the basic concepts related to the field.
2	Examines the Visual Arts curriculum.
3	Knows the commonly used learning theories in art teaching.
4	Explain the commonly used learning strategies, methods and techniques in the field of visual arts.
5	Uses his / her knowledge and experience in the development of artistic creativity and creativity.
6	Use the possibilities of different measurement and evaluation methods for the evaluation of artistic learning.
7	He / she interprets historical works, monuments, museums, galleries, artist and designer workshops, and comments on works of art and design examples.
