Course Objective To asses the theories and applications of curriculum development in the sense of elementary mathematics course.
Course Content Basic concepts in curriculum development. Educational principles in elementary education, basic properties of elementary curriculum, the relationship among development, learning and curriculum development, components of curriculum (goal, content, the processes of learning and teaching, assesment), stages of curriculum development process (designing, implication, evaluation and revision), NCTM Standarts and Principles, elementary mathematics curriculum. .
