Course Objective	This lecture will provide information on the principles of textile dyeing, dyeing with natural dyes, dyeing of natural and synthetic fibres with synthetic dyes, garment dyeing, blends dyeing, novel textile dyeing Technologies.
Course Content	General knowledge about textile dyeing, colour and colour fastness. Textile dyeing methods, textile machinery. Dyeing of Cellulosic fibers, protein fibers, synthetic fibers and blends. New developments and tecnologies on textile dyeing
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	Students become aware of general information about textile dyeing
2	Students become aware of colour and colour measurement and colour fastness tests
3	Students become aware of natural dyeing and textile dyeing methods and textile dyeing machinery
4	Students become aware of dyeing and dyeing methods of cellulose and protein fibres
5	Students become aware of dyeing and dyeing methods of synthetic fibres
6	Students become aware of dyeing and dyeing methods of blends, microfibers and fabrics containing elastane
7	Students become aware new developments and tecnologies on textile dyeing
