Course Objective The aim of this course is to enable the postgraduate students to learn the weldability of nonferrous metals and plastics and their behaviours by various welding methods.
Course Content Introduction to the welding of nonferrous metals and the classification of welding methods, Welding methods, Weldability of metals, Strength increasing methods for metals, Metallurgical processes taking place during welding of nonferrous metals, Welding of aluminium and aluminium alloys, Welding of titan and titan alloys, Welding of magnesium and magnesium alloys, Welding of copper and copper alloys, Welding of nickel and nickel alloys, Welding of others nonferrous metals, Welding of plastics.
