Course Objective Introducing thermoelectric modules and systems to students and determining the optimal design of these modules and systems for engineering applications.
Course Content Introduction to thermoelectric modules and systems. What are thermoelectric generator and cooler modules? Ideal equations, maximum parameters and effective material properties of thermoelectric generator and cooler modules. Optimization of thermoelectric generator and cooler modules. Modeling and optimization of thermoelectric generator and cooler systems with fan and heatsink.
