Course Objective	To give information about enzyme technology and kinetics to students.
Course Content	The basic principles of chemical kinetics, thermodynamic and kinetic effects on the reaction rate, the general features of katalizinin enzyme, enzyme-catalysed reactions, kinetics, Michaelis-Menten equation, the Km, kcat, kcat / Km values, meaning, enzyme inhibition, the factors that affect enzyme activity, Allosteric enzymes and kinetics
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	Learns enzymes and their general characteristics.
2	Learns the mechanisms of action of enzymes.
3	Learns the basic concepts of enzyme kinetics. Learns how the rate of an enzymatic reaction is determined and expressed.
4	Learns how enzyme activity is regulated.
