Course Objective Understanding of the theory of plate tectonics, Relationship between regional tectonic structures and plate tectonics.
Course Content The theory of Plate Tectonic, broken up the Pangea to the continents, geometry of plate motions, ridges and trenches of ocean, palaeomagnatism, characteristics of plate boundaries, constructive (divergene) boundaries, destructive (convergene) boundaries, conservative (transform faults) boundaries, triple junctions, hot spots, seismicity at plate boundaries, events of sedimantation and metamorphism.
