Course Objective	To provide information about defining, formulating and solving engineering optimization and structural optimization problems.
Course Content	Introduction, Optimization Algorithms, Use of Heuristic Optimization algorithms in Structural Design Problems, Formulation of the Structural Optimization Problems, Objective Functions and Constraints, Use of Penalty Functions in Constraint Optimization Problems, Example Applications in Structural Engineering
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
