Course Objective All procedures used in molecular biology and biochemistry laboratories for the analysis of proteins are given as much as detailed. The main objective of this course to give fundamental, skills to students to carry out successful experiments in molecular biology laboratories.
Course Content Analysis of Proteins, Quantitation of Proteins, Electrophoretic Separation of Proteins, One-Dimensional SDS Gel Electrophoresis of Proteins, Two-Dimensional Gel Electrophoresis Using the ISO-DALT System, Overview of Digital Electrophoresis Analysis, Detection of Proteins, Staining Proteins in Gels & on Blot Transfer Membranes, Immunoblotting and Immunodetection, Purification of Proteins by Conventional Chromatography, Gel-Filtration Chromatography, Ion-Exchange Chromatography, Immunoaffinity Chromatography, Metal-Chelate Affinity Chromatography, Purification of Proteins by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography, Purification of Proteins by Precipitation, Immunoprecipitation, Synthesizing Proteins In vitro by Transcription and Translation, Metabolic Labeling of Aminco Acids, Isolation of Proteins for Microsequence Analysis, Capillary Electrophoresis of Proteins and Peptides, Peptide and Protein Analysis by Mass Spectrometry, Immunoassays, Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent.
