Course Objective The aim of this course is to analyse Modern English Drama in the light of historical development, social, political and economic developments and theatrical theories of the period.
Course Content 20th century English Drama will be technically analysed in the light of philosophical, social, politic and literary developments. Through the theoretical background given in the course, major theatrical texts and stage adaptations will be analysed.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

10Identifies the development stages of the Modern English Drama by comparing the plays.
11Identifies the narrative strategies of the Modern English Drama.
