Course Objective Teaching in general necessary mythological terms, background of mythology, archetypes, myths and their features, antique mythology especially Greek and Roman mythology, stories of gods and heroes, their effects upon Western Literature, their political and social formation in order to enable students to understand and analyze Western Literature in a better way
Course Content Definition, types, features, meaning of myth,formation of myth in the process from the myths to mythology, basic concepts, basic dat and bibliography concerning myth and mythology, important figures in mythology, Its effect upon Western Culture and Literature and examples in literary texts.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
