Course Content In this class the beginning of the Turkish Language, it’s development periods and spreading areas, historical dialects and ancient master pieces will be studied.

1 Place of Turkish language among world languages. Turkish dialects tasnifi.Language theories and the theory of Altaic languages.
2 Ancient cultures, and the Turks. Asian Huns and Turkish language. Oguz Kagan's epopee.
3 European Huns and Turkish language. North China and Central Asia before Köktürks.
4 Göktürks and Turkish language. Gokturk written texts. The presence of written texts Gokturk, reading, and on the work done. Göktürk's language features.
5 Ogurs and the Bulgarians and the Turkish language. Bulgarian Volga and the Danube.
6 Uighur Turks. Uighurs and the works of Turkish dili.Uygurlardan. Manichean and Buddhist texts. Uighur texts and studies do on texts.
7 Midterm exam.

10 Kipchak Turkish and Turkish works of Kipchak. Religious texts, dictionaries, archery and horse riding related works, literary works.
11 A review on works which written with Kipchak Turkish.
12 Chagatai Turkish and Chagatai Turkish monuments. Pre-classical period, classical period and post-classical period.
13 A review on works which written with Chagatai Turkish.
14 Year-end exam.
