Course Objective Ottoman science and thought constitute a big link of Islamic civilization. The aim of the lecture is to position Ottoman thought historically correctly, to comprehend its sources, main discussion topics and Islamic thought fabric.
Course Content The main sources and problems of Ottoman thought, the fiqh-mystical thinking structure in madrasahs and dervish lodges, the flow in the late Ottoman thought.
