Course Objective	Evaluation of reforms realized in the phase of founding Republic of Turkey, and examination of the effects of those reforms on political, social, economic and cultural life. Examining the events encountered in the phase of evolution and the effects of them on social structure.
Course Content	Social and political structure taken over by the Republic, efforts to form a modern society, efforts of modernization after the formation of the republic and reactions towards them, and the effects of political structure on social structure in 1945 and afterwards.
