Course Objective To evaluate the historiography studies that started with the tradition of Vakanuvis in the Ottoman Empire. To evaluate the change experienced by the historiography studies with the modernization process.
Course Content To evaluate the transition period from the classical period Ottoman historiography to scientific historiography. In this process, to get to know people, institutions and works that make history studies.
