Course Objective 1- Ability to define the basic concepts in art and aesthetics. 2- Ability to understand the importance of art and art education in development of a person. 3- Ability to say the relation between art and creativity. 4- Ability to say the relation between art and sensitivity. 5- Ability to say the relation between art and education. 6- Ability tıo gain the development of art in Turkey and in the World. 7- Ability to say the relation between art and culture. 8- Ability to gain the roles of museums in developing art.
Course Content Art, fine arts, craft and culture; art and education; art, creativity and artwork; philosophy of art and aesthetics; theories of art and aesthetics; art criticism; art history, pre-modern, modern and post-modern art; art and social context; art and everyday life; Turkish-Islamic art-aesthetics and works of art; the position of art and artisan in the process of social change; The development of the arts in Turkey; understanding of art today; civilization and art; art, aesthetics and morality.
