Course Objective To analyze the concepts of formal curriculum, extra-curricular activities and hidden curriculum; to compare the approaches of hidden curriculum; to explain the effect of hidden curriculum on cognitive and affective learning; to consider the importance of hidden curriculum in moral education; to evaluate the extra-curricular activities such as ceremonies; social and cultural activities, rituals in terms of hidden curriculum
Course Content Concepts of formal curriculum, extra-curricular activities and hidden curriculum in education; approaches of hidden curriculum; cognitive and affective domain learning and hidden curriculum; the school as a place of rituel; school ceremonies as an extra-curricular activity in school; importance and management of social, cultural, sportive and artistic activities at school; the importance of hidden curriculum for moral education; extra-curricular activities (celebration, meeting, graduation, etc.) in terms of moral education.
